Dialogue box launcher

The Ribbon is a new concept in Microsoft Word 2007 and shows a layer of frequently used tools and commands for creating documents. For more extensive documents, there is another layer of tools and commands accessible through the Dialog Box Launcher.

Default Settings

refers to a setting or value automatically assigned to a software application, computer program or device, outside of user intervention.

Clipboard

a small board  having at the top a clip  for holding papers and serving as a portable writing surface.

 

 

 

Application Window

the frame, sashes, and panes of glass, or the like, intended to fit such an opening: Finally the builders put in the windows. 

 

Alignment

the proper adjustment of the components of an electronic circuit, machine, etc., for coordinated functioning: The front wheels of the car are out of alignment.
